Welcome

I am Till Kranz, a postdoc in the group of Prof. Dr. Ramin Golestanian at the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics, University of Oxford. My research focus is the theoretical description of Cell Assemblies and Biofilms as examples of a far from equilibrium fluids. These fluids are characterized by a mechanism that dissipates energy and an (internal) driving force. I am also interested in glassy systems, especially resulting from nonequilibrium fluids. Before I progressed to living things, I studied the nonequilibrium behavior of granular fluids of inanimate particles. To find out more, have a look at Research or read my papers.
