Welcome

I am Till Kranz, a postdoc in the group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Sperl at the Institute of Materials Physics in Space, DLR. My research focus is the theoretical description of nonequilibrium fluids in terms of their rheological properties. These fluids are characterized by a mechanism to dissipate energy and an – internal or external – driving force. am also interested in glassy systems, especially resulting from nonequilibrium fluids. Most of my research is concerned with (dense) granular fluids but I also study bacterial motility and micro-colony formation. To find out more, have a look at Research or read my papers.
