These fluids are characterized by a mechanism to dissipate energy and an -- internal or external -- driving force.  am also interested in glassy systems, especially resulting from nonequilibrium fluids. Most of my research is concerned with (dense) granular fluids but I also study bacterial motility and micro-colony formation.
